The Participants, by the act of registering, acknowledge that:

1. The data controller is the University of Wrocław, pl. Uniwersytecki 1, 50-137 Wrocław.
2. The data controller has appointed a Data Protection Officer, who can be contacted via email: IOD@uwr.edu.pl.
3. The personal data will be processed for the purposes of organizing the International Conference on Theoretical and Experimental Chemistry: how to design, obtain and investigate functional materials, ICTEC 2026.
4. The legal basis for personal data processing is the consent granted by completing the application form.
5. Personal data will not be shared with external entities, except for entities with which the University has concluded data processing agreements and in cases required by law.
6. The personal data will be stored for the period necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were obtained and until any claims have expired, as well as in accordance with other applicable regulations.
7. The participants have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of their personal data, or the right to object to the processing of the data, as well as the right to data portability. However, they should be aware that their rights may be limited by specific legal provisions.
8. The participants have the right to withdraw consent, which serves as the legal basis for processing, at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
9. Providing personal data is voluntary, but failure to provide it will prevent participation in the Conference.
10. The participants have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
